== Origins ==

Alden Stonefoot grew up in Minur-Khuzad where he had a fascination for the curious and fanciful. An avid scholar of the outside world, he grabbed any book he could get his hands on that were not crafting manuals, and this led him to knowledge of the arcane. A book bought by a travelling gnome, learned him the simplest cantrips, but knowing this was not enough, he set his eyes on the Mage City of Visimontium, and laid out on a neverending journey

== Personality ==
A stoic but gentle dwarf that puts scholarly pursuits and the preservation of magic above all else. A firm devotion to Andrinor makes him see eye to eye with the more chaotic aspects of magic-usage, even though he himself is quite conservative. He is an expert abjurer and has great respect for fellow abjurers such a Karna Yeritath Zemanaena and Patrick Briams.

== Synopsis ==

''A garden usually has many elements to it, different plants and flowers. In most cases they thrive well, but they thrive best when they have someone who tends to it, someone who prunes here and plants there, someone who gives the natural chaos some structure - a gardener. As it is the duty of the gardener to tend to his garden, it is the duty of our Order to tend to all those using the Arcane Art and to make them prosper. It is our desire to bring out the best in a mages through proper disciplining of his or her art.''
<br><br>The Blue Order of the Sky is one of the recently reformed orders of Andrinor's Trust. Its main goal is the study and advance in knowledge of the Arcane Art, but unlike many other orders its members do not seek to apply it for some abstract cause. The Blue Order focuses on research, hard study, discipline and organization. Mentor/student relationships are highly encouraged within the Order.
<br><br>Its secondary goal is to safeguard against mages who abuse their powers, often aiding authorities in dealing with outlaw or insane mages. In their eyes the Arcane Art is a tool with nearly unlimited potential, but if used irresponsibly can lead to disaster such as in the case of the orcs in the Great War. The Blue Order refrains from issues of morality because they see the law of the land as defining what is right and what is wrong in most situations. Many mages within the Blue Order feel inclined to join local law enforcement authorities in the regions they call home.

== Regional Activity ==
The Blue Order is based heavily in [[Visimontium]] (including the Archmage), although it maintains regional activity throughout southern Avlis, where the largest Blue bastion is the tower in [[Derrington Keep]]. The Blue Order is also the most active Mage Order in [[Kurathene]], closely tied to the history of the Imperium. A recent mission of the Order in Kurathene has been aiding [[Cytheria]]'s attempts to push back the barbarians from [[Halstead]].

After the great Emperor's death in 1825 OD, the Sword splintered out just like many other Legions, many of its soldiers returning to their homelands. Two of the Sword's most prominent commanders, '''Michael al'Aere''' and '''Roland Barre''' travelled south, to the human nation of [[M%27Chek|M'Chek]], carrying the banner of the Sword with them.

In [[M%27Chek|M'Chek]], the two soldiers founded a martial academy in an effort to teach the M'Chekians how to fight honorably and with superior tactics. =Redwyn Ironhart=

An Avariel with the hardiness of a dwarf and the manners of a human. Redwyn travelled to Mikona at a young age to receive training at the Academy of the Sword.

Here he underwent training with the Holy Legate Rickus va'Alor. After realizing and embracing his place in Toran's Plan, Legionnaire Ironhart was made a Justicar of Toran.

Redwyn serves as a soldier in the M'Chekian army, but has been known to travel north when his duties permit.

=Redwyn Ironhart=

An Avariel with the hardiness of a dwarf and the manners of a human. Redwyn travelled to Mikona at a young age to receive training at the Academy of the Sword.

Here he underwent training with the Holy Legate Rickus va'Alor. After realizing and embracing his place in Toran's Plan, Legionnaire Ironhart was made a Justicar of Toran.

Redwyn serves as a soldier in the M'Chekian army, but has been known to travel north when his duties permit.
