Mendell is a strange sight in the streets of Kuras. Always colourful and always muttering he has a small aura of chaos around him. Some think that he is insane. Mendell disagrees and thinks that it just a manner of perception.
Some say that Mendell is a follower of [[Forian]], god of Chaos, and he propably wouldn't deny that when asked.
Mendell is always on the run for Boredom, his ever-present imaginary enemy. He does not believe in the usefulness of names or rules. He is also very suspicious of the trustworthiness of his memory.
Mendell has red hair, but has it often covered by either his hood or his wicked horned helmet. The clothes he wears are hardly ever the same, though they are always colourful to the point of hurting your eyes. Mendell often carries his powerful [[heavy flail]], named [[Suprize!]].

* Sure thing, although I sorta prefer to group by country. I'd put Elysia in with T'Nanshi but I believe its achieved its independence from that nation and thus is a separate entity (and not because of its server status). Should Mikona not be grouped with M'Check? It too a separate server. 
: I'm not too keen on the ''server'' focus that seems to dominate the wiki, I mean its artificial and not IC to think in terms of servers. I've been trying to make the wiki seem more real (more like the [http://www.wikipedia.org/ RL wiki]) so the immersion is better. Its nice to have info about the servers but I don't think the articles should be slavish to them. Marin was born to a small mining guild in the north of Deglos that was a mix of gnomes and [[Dwarf|dwarves]]. She never fit in there and often resented the stricture of the [[Gorethar|Goretharites]] in the village but also sought more than what she knew from her fellow [[Fegall]]ian ganoomkin. During adolescence found some arcane scrolls from the [[Magic:Enchantment|Enchantment]] school. She played around with these and found she had some talent in arcane magic. She remains true to her Fegall roots but is drawn to her arcane talents. She left her village and clan upon reaching adulthood and made her way to [[Elysia]].

Upon reaching Elysia, Marin met many new friends of all sorts. She went on many journeys with these new friends and learned much about both magic and the world around her. She met and spoke with a couple Ashen Order members, Archmage [[PCs:Robert Wallace|Wallace]] and [[PCs:Malis|Malis]], who told her of the Order and their tower in Elysia. Marin spent many hours studying in the tower and eventually decided to become an initiate in the Order.

Marin also sought out an apprenticeship in the Guild of Advancement of Knowledge and Nature to practice the [[Ganoom|Makken]] according to Fegallian tradition. Shortly after joining she took up residence in Ferrell to be closer to the Guild and several friends she has made. Ferrell also allows Marin to continue her studies at the Ashen Tower in Elysia.

Mendell thinks names are useless and is also known as Mendell the Pink/Orange/Yellow/[insert colour here], depending on the colour of his suit at the time, which changes frequently. Usually he wanders through the city of Kuras, muttering and seeking to escape Boredom (with the capital B), his greatest enemy. Mendell avoids the temple of Toran at all costs, because he just doesn't like the place.

Contraptioneer Plitz of the Haubenschnaupfen is a gnome with white hair, clear blue eyes and a beard, entwined in two braids. Plitz seeks to re-establish the Guild of Contraptions, which has fallen apart after the Great Wainbleck Contraption Crash. He collects Thingamabobs and apart from contraptioneering, he also designs buildings.
