Their color gives clues as to their abilities with fire and heat. They veritably glow in these caves and can be seen with a warm glowing halo encircling them. While some have written, "the Monstrous Bloodback spider is an aggressive predator and web spinner. Their poison is highly toxic, causing pain, nausea, and eventually death." they would be fairly wrong on many counts... Also quite similar to the [[Chill_Spider\|Chill Spider]] but its elemental opposite and a bit faster in it's movements.

			Elysian Red Spiders radiate with heat to the point of burning prey when they get too close. I am unsure if this is to help cook their food, for disinfecting meat, attacking prey, or all of the above. They also have the ability to breath out fire, pulse out a wave of fire as an attack, and of course will also occasionally use webbing to trap or wrap their prey but often prefer the use of fire and heat.
