|Most_Compatible_Notes= The Elysian Redback spider is an aggressive predator... It is extremely aggressive and will quickly confront anyone bothering it with a series of cold attacks. It doesn't seem like a normal spider and feels closer to a bear, especially with it's cold nature.

|Introduction= "The Monstrous Red Back, distantly related to the Black Widow, is an aggressive predator and web spinner. Their poison is highly toxic, causing pain, nausea and eventually death." Is what most books say about them but I would disagree. The Elysian Redback (not to be confused with the almost opposite Elysian Red), often uses cold and numbing abilities and freezing it's prey before dealing the death blow.
|Feeding_Habits= It often uses its cold aura and breath to both hurt, contain, and then preserve its prey, and then finally goes in for the kill with its jaws.
|Disposition_Social_Habits= Laying in wait near others of their kind, the Elysian Redback spider will aggressively attack intruders and freeze them in their steps. Often seen with other spiders.
