Many people settled in the area, attracted by the safety Kuras and Soreign provided. After the fall of the Empire, the settlements allied to Julaspium became more successful economically, as the martial law imposed on the lands controlled by Kuras wasn't good for business. However, even though the south of Julaspium was relativly the safest part of the Grand Duchy, the Tri-Fief wars did not go unnoticed. As the most populous area of Julaspium, many of the southern sons died, creating several ghost towns when those who stayed behind moved to the cities, seeking for hope. Currently the south has regained ~~it's~~ position of the richest part of Julaspium again, largely due to trade with and traffic to Kuras. The south is also the home to the three Noble Houses: the [[Nordryn]] are numerous in the town of the same name, and the [[va'Argos]] largely control [[Llargos]].
