These rare and potent magical items were crafted by the legendary elven sage and historian Llyntmos Ty'zllhat. Ty'zllhat is most famous for having organized the group known as the lorewardens within the church of Vorin more than 250 years ago.

A consummate historian, Ty'zllhat was always worried that something might happen in the world that would not be recorded. In an effort to chronicle the events around him, Ty'zllhat made these special quills and sent them out into the world with his fellow lorewardens.

The magic within each pen allows a person to chronicle the name of an important person, place or thing. Once it has been chronicled, the name will remain known for all time through the power of Vorin. Sadly, just as the ink in a quill runs dry, the magic in each pen fades through use.

As the least of the pens created by Llyntmos Ty'zllhat, a minor quill can permanently record the name of any item. The magic in these pens is not strong enough to record the names of people or places.

<b>OOC:</b> The quill uses the new SetName() functionality in 1.67, allowing you to rename any item in the game.
