The Legend of the Leafweaver
Book 2

There is a small clan of Romini who sometimes sing this little song to their children with a wink and nudge to get the sleepy heads off to bed. Loosely translated into common, it sounds something like this...

In the darkness the leaf-weaver works
While we are sleeping the leaf-weaver works
While we are dreaming the leaf-weaver works

Only in the rising of dawn's sun
Do we see the work the leaf-weaver's done
Only upon rising with dawn's sun

Pretty nest pricked out with silver morning dew
Balanced on the branch's edge
Red autumn leaves

Sleep and dream while the leaf-weaver works
In the moonlight the leaf-weaver works
The dawn's sun shows us the leaf-weaver's works

An interested Vorinite scholar, studying the culture of the Romini, once sparked a debate with this clan about what exactly a leaf-weaver was. Some of them said it was an ant. Some of them said it was a spider. There was almost a clan schism over the matter, until the scholar asked why O'Ma's colors were depicted in the verse with the silver dew, brown branch and red leaves. The scholar was soundly laughed at and everyone broke out drinks and had a good party.
