Categorizing Spells
Each of the spell casting classes has their own page that lists a brief description of the class and the respective levels of spells (i.e. Level-0, Level-1, etc).  Then each of those pages lists the spells for that particular level.  As a result, we have quite a few uncategorized pages.
There are two possible answers if we wish to categorize these pages.  First, we could simply dump all of them into :Category:Magic -- but this would cause a bit of a mess, I think.  What I think is the better option is to make the page Magic:Bard Spells into a category -- :Category:Bard Spells -- that is a subcategory of Magic instead of a stand-alone page, then assign each level to that category.  I've done this with the Bard spells, but am curious what everyone else thinks.
Of course, the ramifications are that the main spell template would need edited to link to the categories for each class instead of the individual pages.

Organizing categories

Organizing categories like this brings up some more possible projects.

Plural forms

For consistency, many categories should be in plural form, whereas their current form is singular. Player, Deity, and Race are examples of this, and should probably be changed to Players, Deities, and Races. This will be tedious to implement, but useful in the long run. --Xenophile 16:21, 12 Apr 2006 (GMT)

PCs and NPCs pages

I stuck these as subcateogies of history for the moment, but I don't really think they belong there. I just can't decide where they make the most sense, could use your input. --Xenophile 16:21, 12 Apr 2006 (GMT)

Community was where I thought PCs belonged, Information for the NPCs. --Krator 17:32, 12 Apr 2006 (GMT)

Double Categorizing

An even more tedious task than the Plural forms would be removing pages with double categories when not appropiate. For example, the page PCs:John_Doe might both be in PCs, Kurathene PCs, Julaspium PCs, and Players. This should be removed, and replaced with only "Julaspium PCs" - Julaspium PCs is a subcategory of Kurathene PCs, which is a subcategory of PCs, which is a subcategory of players.. etc. No need to have every category on the page, only confusing.

Some categories this applies to now are, for example, the PCs, (Both PCs and (Place) PCs) the Races (Both Races and Custom Races), the elven languages (both language and elven language), and some feats. (such as Feats and General Feats)

This won't be something that can be done in a few hours, because these pages are hard to track. If you come across such a page, please edit out the double categories. --Krator 17:32, 12 Apr 2006 (GMT)

First, we could simply dump all of them into Category:Magic -- but this would cause a bit of a mess, I think. What I think is the better option is to make the page Magic:Bard Spells into a category -- Category:Bard Spells -- that is a subcategory of Magic instead of a stand-alone page, then assign each level to that category. I've done this with the Bard spells, but am curious what everyone else thinks.

Of course, the ramifications are that the main spell template would need edited to link to the categories for each class instead of the individual pages.
