What If T'Nanshi Were M'Chek

The world's the way it is
But what if things changed?
Flip it all upside down
Wouldn't that be so strange?

If T'Nanshi were M'Chek
What would become of the elves
Would they turn into humans?
Would they still feel like themselves?

Can you imagine all the elves
Reaching up near their ears
Where the points wouldn't be
Would they break down in tears?

But the saddest part of all
Would be their short lives you see
An elf who lives to a hundred
Would never hit puberty!

The world's the way it is
But what if things changed?
Flip it all upside down
Wouldn't that be so strange?

What would change bring the gnomes
Would their noses grow short?
When they take a deep breath
Would it come out like a snort?

But I know about the dwarves
At least that much is clear
They'd have to start milking cows
Because they'd stop drinking beer!

But what if things changed?
Flip it all upside down
Wouldn't that be so strange?

What would happen to Ferrell
And us halflings so short?
Would we grow tall as the trees
And hunt giants for sport?

Cause giants would be tiny
Just up to my knees
Sure would be funny to see
Them blow away when I sneeze!

But me, I like this world
All that stuff would be wrong
Cause if everything was changed
How would I sing my songs!
