|Introduction= These tough giant crabs have reddish dorsal shells and white ventral shells at least 10 feet or more in diameter; Decapodal, they move slowly on eight legs while they attack with their remaining two pincerlike foreclaws, which deliver crushing, bludgeoning damage.
|Feeding_Habits= They are known to knock down and grab an opponent and squeeze with their foreclaws - this is particularly dangerous to armored opponents.
|Disposition_Social_Habits= They usually hunt in groups numbering less than half a dozen, making ferocious attacks on anything they can get to to eat.
|Habitat= They have been observed in the area of Ferrell in the Rift Temple; they appear to prefer marine waters to freshwater, though have the ability to operate on land as well.

|Introduction= These tough crabs are small, maybe a foot and a half or two in diameter, with reddish dorsal shells and white ventral shells. They move incredibly quickly, scuttling with remarkable agility on eight of their 10 legs, while they attack with their remaining two pincerlike foreclaws, which, counter to the crabs' common name, deliver crushing, bludgeoning damage.
|Feeding_Habits= They are known for attacking humanoid targets' legs preferentially (hence the common name), thus slowing their prey's movement and enabling even more damage to be dealt before a target can get to a place of safety.

In this respect, they are similar to Magebane Bats. They attack with their large pincer-like forelegs, the others being used in locomotion, reproduction, and other tasks.
|Feeding_Habits= Like other giant crabs, they are omnivorous and opportunistic, feeding upon whatever they can get their claws onto, whether plant and fungal matter, dead carrion or live prey.

Magebane crabs are a subspecies of Giant Crab. Similarly decapodal, they are distinguished by their increased toughness, immunity to magical spells and ability to dispel magics from their prey. In this respect, they are similar to Magebane Bats. They attack with their large pincer-like forelegs, the others being used in locomotion, reproduction, and other tasks. They are colored blue-white dorsally, and white ventrally, with red-tipped claws.

|Introduction= The Celestial Bison is a docile creature when observed calmly grazing from a distance. When worked
to a frenzy, few creatures (or inanimate objects for that matter) can hamper its momentum. The bison is a cow-ish
creature: brown thick hair with a large elongated head and horns. The front half of the bison is massive in
stature and girth. Physically, it is vaguely reminiscent of the minotaur. It is unknown if the bison has natural
origins on Avlis, but if it did, I suppose one might look for it in the grasslands of nations such as Kurathene,
Toran Sharda, Dubanat, and Brekon . The bison studied by this author is one that was summoned from another plane
(Celestial). It is quite trainable and receptive to a druid or ranger befriending it.

Physically, the bison's outstanding characteristics are its strength and endurance. Offensive momentum is the
animals best fighting tactic, lowering its huge head, large horns and thick neck and plowing through its foe.
It travels well, able to trot along for long distances without need of food and water.
|Feeding_Habits= From observation, the bison is a herbivore grazer. Grasses (in copious amounts) are its favored food.
|Disposition_Social_Habits= The bison appears to be quite social, and will work with its trainer. The author suspects
it would travel in herds, if there were a number of them. Its mating habits and other habits are relatively unknown.

Magebane crabs are a subspecies of Giant Crab. Similarly decapodal, they are distinguished by their increased toughness, immunity to magical spells and ability to dispel magics from their prey. In this respect, they are similar to Magebane Bats. They attack with their large pincer-like forelegs, the others being used in locomotion, reproduction, and other tasks. They are colored blue-white dorsally, and white ventrally, with red-tipped claws.

|Introduction= Magebane crabs are a subspecies of Giant Crab. Similarly decapodal, they are distinguished by their increased toughness, immunity to magical spells and ability to dispel magics from their prey. In this respect, they are similar to Magebane Bats. They attack with their large pincer-like forelegs, the others being used in locomotion, reproduction, and other tasks.
|Feeding_Habits= Like other giant crabs, they are omnivorous and opportunistic, feeding upon whatever they can get their claws onto, whether plant and fungal matter, dead carrion or live prey.
|Disposition_Social_Habits= They are often found amongst other subspecies of giant crab, possibly interbreeding with them. It is rare to find more than one Magebane crab in a group of giant crabs, which lends credence to the theory that they are a mutated version of giant crab and do not breed true amongst themselves.
|Habitat= Lives in or near water of some depth, usually in caves of some size which have deep pools or running water in them.
|Other_Notes= Like a Magebane Bat, they resist magical spells used on them, and they have the ability to dismiss magics from their prey and often do so in combat, though they do not seem to have the ability to produce a Mordenkainen's Disjunction as the Magebane Bat does.
