K'Lari is a slender female elf. She has violet eyes with a slight hint of yellow in them. She is very agile, which can be seen from the way she moves in battle and in normal life. She almost always wears an elven hat to cover her blonde hair, nobody quite knows why. It's also rumoured to change color when she changes clothing.

K'Lari is an adventurous person. She likes the excitement of adventuring, and the gold that can be made through it. However, she is prone more to relaxation then fighting. If there is a bathhouse in the viscinity, it is very likely that she is enjoying herself there. In combat, however, she is a very skilled warrior who likes to sneak up on her targets, but is also a formidable opponent in direct combat. She is rarely taken by anger, but when she is, it is better to stay out of her way. 

'''Biography:''' 
K’Lari never had an easy life. She was growing up to be quite the model elven “teenager�?: She excelled at archery, never disobeyed her elders and was showing great promise at magic. But when the war between M’Chek and T’Nanshi started, and her father decided to join the war, everything changed. The last gift her father to her was an elven hat, which was enchanted to grow with her as she aged. Her father was stationed at a small village, and his task was to defend it and assist the villagers with rebuilding. Only a few months after he got there the town was attacked by Elite M’Chekian troops. He was butchered by the troops as he was trying to get the women and children out of the village. 

When K’Lari and her mother heard the news they were both devastated. K’Lari managed to get back into her normal life after a year; however her mother got addicted to Fey Wine and didn’t want anyone’s help trying to get sober. The money that her father left to them lasted for two decades, but just when K’Lari was starting to learn how to use magic, their money ran out. K’Lari decided that it was up to her to take care of her mother and quit school to become a petty pickpocket. 

When she was nearing her 120th birthday she changed from the model teenager, to a rebel who couldn’t be controlled. She didn’t have much social contact with other people and made it a point to keep it that way. She left her mother to fend for herself when K’Lari lost all hope that she would ever be cured of her addiction. The only thing that remained the same after all those years was the hat that her father gave to her: She always took it with her, wherever she went. 

At her 120th birthday she decided to leave Le’Or and do something useful with her life. That very day she saw a recruitment poster for the T’Nanshi Army, and decided to train herself so that she could avenge her father, take back the land that belongs to her homeland, and kill as many M’Chekians as she could, because they were the reason her life was interrupted. 

Hearing rumours that it was the place where most adventures go to exercise, she went to Elysia and hoped to learn from their experiences. A few weeks after she arrived she already made a handful a friends and managed to enjoy herself at the Second Solace and many other places of interest in Elysia. It took her a year before she thought that she was ready to join the T’Nanshi army. She fought for revenge and T’Nanshi’s honour while on the battlefield near Blandenburg. She killed many M’Chekians, and it didn’t take long for someone to approach her and ask her to join a special division of the army. 

One evening in the Second Solace, K’Lari attended a lecture about the outer planes. At first she thought that it was going to be quite boring, but she was proven wrong only after a few minutes. Because of the thing she heard there, she decided to try and discover ways to travel the planes. Only a few days later she discovered a portal to Ysgard and decided to go there with a couple of her friends. The things she saw there peaked her curiosity even more and she continued to explore other planes. 

One day, decades later, she intended to go to Ysgard for a few weeks, but not long after that the portal was closed on both sides. People assume that she got stuck there and can't find a way back.

According to Mikon, everyone has the right to choose their own path in life. Good is of course always preferable to evil in terms of living harmoniously. We all want to live in a safe and enjoyable world. However, Mikon is a warrior and he's used to fighting. Sometimes it is necessary to further an evil end in order to achieve stability and harmony in the long run. The good and the evil will often not see this. They merely look at what is happening at that moment. It is Mikon's job, and the job of his followers to find out how to turn a situation so it comes out for the best down the road.

Many different types of people and philosophies exist. Mikon is tolerant of them all. He understands that in order to have the light, you will need the darkness to compare it to. Order will not exist without chaos either. Most do not understand these points and only wish to have their own beliefs dominate. This is one thing Mikon will not allow. The dance is everything. There is no goal or destination. The journey is why we are here, and without those opposing sides going against each other the journey will cease.

After the nine warriors were changed to gods by the [[Eternal Spark]], and the [[Negerai]] was defeated, the new gods all went back to their respective planes of appropriate philosophy.... except for Mikon. He remained behind on the [[Wikipedia:Prime Material Plane|Prime Material Plane]]. The Supreme charged him with the task of keeping all Gods out of the Prime Material Plane, so that the balance is not destroyed. This is his job to this day.

Mikon has major temples in [[Mikona]] and [[Visimontium]], chapels in [[The_Village_of_Blandenberg|Blandenburg]] and [[Bachwood]], and a shrine to the Equalizers of Mikon in [[Eastshore]].

==Mikon's Philosophy==

* Many philosophies fixate on one particular thing. In general, the deep rooted spiritual beliefs of the good religions are outwardly focussed, and the deep rooted spiritual beliefs of the evil religions are inwardly focused. Neutral religions tend to not worry so much about where one is focussed, but instead they worry about HOW one focuses.

* Followers of Mikon see problems with these beliefs. If one is focussed so much on what's outside of them, their own selfish needs will never be attended to, and they may wind up being repressed. In the long run this may cause corruption and opression of those who do not follow the ways of "good". Evil has the opposite problem. They are so selfish and self-serving that they get a narrow view of things and eventually get eliminated by things they never saw coming. Not only that, but their inward focused nature often makes them incredibly bad at living in harmony with others!

* Law and chaos have the same basic problems. If someone is too disciplined, they become a slave to their practice and never realize that the practice itself is no longer deliberate, but instead has become a HABIT. What kind of control do you have over yourself when all you are doing is acting out a routine you call "discipline"? On the other hand, if someone is not disciplined at all, how will they be able to run their life effectively? We all need to live in the world. We all need to make our way in society from day to day. Such things take a little bit of discipline. Otherwise, we would never eat right, or wash our clothes, or pay our taxes on time.

* Mikon symbolizes the middle path. "Be disciplined, if you may. But let the present moment decide when discipline evaporates and gets replaced by freedom." This holy proverb of the followers of Mikon reiterates that everyone should have a balance of both in their life. Discipline is needed to do certain things. It is a useful tool. However, it is only a TOOL. There comes a time when the tool can be put down when it is not needed for a while. However, if you never use that tool, you are in for some problems in life.

* Goodness and evil, inwardness and outwardness, are also to be taken in moderation. People must learn about themselves in life. They must become attuned to what their wants and needs are. However, they must also be conscious of those around them and how their wants and needs will affect the innocent. Should you NEVER hurt the innocent if it means getting your wants and needs? Not necessarily. There's a time and a place for everything to be weighed. If certain innocents may be hurt by your ambition, you will need to figure how that action will turn out in the long run for everyone, both inside and outside of yourself.

'''Le'Or T'Nanshi''' is the capitol of the elven nation of [[T'Nanshi]] proper. The administration of the entire nation is controlled from this location. However, as a rule, the elves rule things very loosely and only as much as needed.

== Overview ==
Le'Or T'Nanshi and the Nation of T'Nanshi are ruled by the same body of elected officials. The [[Council of Nine]] controls all foreign policy and domestic matters.

Members are elected to the Council of Nine via elections held every fifty years. The Council of Nine passes laws, as few as possible, that are enforced within Le'Or T'Nanshi by the [[Watchmen]]. The remainder of the nation gets its laws enforced by the [[Guild: Le'Nofaythen'T'Nanshi|T'Nanshi army]].

Both the Watchmen and the T'Nanshi army are separate entities controlled by the council. Both the Watchmen and the army each have a supreme commander in chief that is a member of the council. They are the only ones on the governing body with a specific task to look after. The rest of the members act in consultation with each other on all other matters.

Although it is not a law, it often happens that only Nobles can get elected to the Council of Nine. This is not seen as a problem by the elves, for most common elves have absolutely no interest in politics or governing, and they have little intention of catching the eye of the government.

Noble families in T'Nanshi are not the same as in a typical human nation. Nobility is not equated with land ownership or money in elven society. For the elves, a noble family is simply a family who has played a big part in the history of the elves at some point in time. When a family earns a distinction to set it apart from the normal elven families, it is considered noble. It just so happens, that most of these families also have successful business dealings that have made them wealthy, but it is not true of all the noble families.

The commander in chief of the Watchmen is a man named [[NPCs:Ryiel Sunmar|Ryiel Sunmar]]. His family is also of noble descent, although they take their lineage from the newer Sunmar family and its founder, [[NPCs:Orleron Sunmar|Orleron Sunmar]]. Ryiel is Orleron's half-brother.

=== Entrance District ===
This district centers around a group of trees connected to a couple of winches that control lifts used to get into the city. It is usually heavily guarded, and all non-elven visitors are noted.

=== Marketplace ===
This is the heart of the entire elven economy in T'Nanshi. Goods from all over Avlis are brought into this market from as far as the nation of Tydedu. Exports are also fairly rigorous here. There are two kinds of merchants to be found: elven domestic merchants, and (usually) non-elven foreign merchants. The domestic merchants are selling items for export, and the foreign merchants often have goods from elsewhere. Le'Or T'Nanshi's prime location makes it a major trade artery for getting goods to the south part of the continent.

This is the spiritual and legislative heart of T'Nanshi. It contains the Capitol Building, where the Council of Nine meets for sessions and makes decisions for ruling the nation. It also houses the High Temple of [[Dru'El]], which is the main holy site for all who follow that god. It is said in legend that the ground beneath the trees of the temple once held the prison that contained Dru'El as a mortal before he escaped to godhood. Aside from Dru'El's temple, there are temples to [[Dra'Nar]], and [[Pelar]], as well as shrines to [[Berryn]] and [[Dagath]]. Healing and resurrections are easily found here.

=== Thayten Le'Nanshen (Residence District) ===
All the normal, non-noble, folk live here. All undistinguished elven tradesmen and workers make their homes here if they wish to live within the city. Many elves decide to live outside the city so they can more easily ply their harvesting trades, but craftsmen often choose to live inside.

=== Nobles District ===
The Nobles district contains the houses of the distinguished elven families who choose to live within the capitol. The district, and the houses within, are quite large.

=== Garrison District===
This is a military base. In fact, it is the central military base for entire elven army. Commanding officers and generals are common here, as most of the plans for the war with M'Chek started within the base's walls.
