===Physical Traits===
Shard is a good looking young man with golden hairs and blue eyes.He bear two small horns on the top of his head what lead to confusion about his nature more than once. He is of average heigh and he always carry a smell of sawdust wherever he go.

===Personallity===
Emotions always led his life. Shard is a being of heart more than of head. What caused him so many problem in his short life. Joyous and pationate he is a funny prankster. The kind to put caltrop on an ordained chair or to blow wet paper ball in the back of his friends head in an official meeting.
But when it come to carpentry, he become serious, professinal and really disciplined on his work. Though he really like to make his apprentice sweat a bit while testing by teasing them about eventual failure!

===Friends & Associates===
Shard hold many friends in his heart. Most of them are part of the Order of Gorethar and the ACE. But few of them really knew him well, in fact he can really count only two of them to be really close. [[PCs:Dravenmore|Edge Dravenmore]] was one of his best friend the time they were both part of the [[Guild:OrderofGorethar|Order of Gorethar]]. They were often seen together having fun and smiting thing.

[[PCs:Findail Silaureth|Findail]] was the quartermaster of the [[Guild:ACE|ACE]] when they both met. It took a time before they come to know each other well but they were sharing the same passion for carpentry. Soon they became good friend, working on new project, discovering new process and helping the ACE to not crumble under the absence of his officers. Then they grew in the hierarchy of the guild and their friendship grew with it. When Shard died, Findail was probably part of his last memories...

=HISTORY=

====Early Life====

Not many thing is know about the early life of Shard. He know he come from an Nymph mother and an Human father who was a follower of [[Maleki]]. Many lie were told to him from his adoptive father. Sadly, his adoptive parent both died before he've been told the truth.

His life as a teenager was hard though. With those two horns, he was often the laughing stock of the other kids and isolated himself. Perhaps a reason why his emotions guided his life that much. During this time, he developped interest in many crafting skills. His first passion was in alchemy and herbalism. But soon came to developpe other things that needed more physical strenght as mining and blacksmithing.

His foster father was trying to educate him in this way, preaching that it was a way to serve Gorethar. Then came the day where he received a call... a call of Faith. He was not really training as other do in academy, neither really seeking to become one, but as every [[Paladin]] before him, he surely was devoted and had a great sense of duty.How he discovered his power and how it was given to him is still unknow. But that's what pushed him toward [[Elysia]] where he joined the [[Guild:OrderofGorethar|Order of Gorethar]].

====The Order of Gorethar====

Shard been recruited in the Order by Hert Snyder. His times in the Order of Gorethar were really good time for him. He progressed in the Order at a normal pace and from his first day he cherished to become the first Scout of Gorethar. He soon developped technics of scouting associated with his psionic abilities and his roguish skill.

From his time as adherent to the time he been promoted to Initiate, he came to know some of the member very well and still counted them as close friend even after his departure from the Order. Among them, Aspen Stormcat, Edge Dravenmore, Trenton Renils and Losin Rockhand to name just a few. The Order was his family and each of his brother and sister were giving the love he never knew when he was young. But Shard being a very emotional driven person, something was always missing. Was it the need for constant change in his life or someone to share a more intimate love, he was always looking away.

So he came to know Davillia Chert, his first love. Davillia was a young woman beginning to learn the way of mining and blacksmithing when he first met her in [[Deglos]]. Soon their shared interest in crafting united them. Before long they were in love, and all was for the better for Shard. He had a Lover and a family,and was one of the most happy man on Avlis.
But a strange feeling was about to erupt.....jealousy.

====The fall of a Paladin====

Davillia was a really good natured person, but also very chaostic and wild. The order and kind of stability Shard had in his life were rudely shaked when he discovered that Dav had a second lover. Jealousy immediately overflowed him, and horo when he also discovered that this other lover was a woman! Dark Moon of the Maiden of Dre'Ana. From this day he also began to feel a secret hatred for the Maiden.
Shard was at first disgusted, and shocked, but he tried to not let his angry feeling break his relation. He tried real hard to accept the duality of Davillia and accept Dark Moon as well. But it came to be too much for him. With his duty of his Order and his time passed at the ACE, he had few time to see Davillia who was almost always with Dark Moon. So he felt he was no more at his place. Those were dark time of sadness and pain for him, but a ray of sun was about to illuminate his life, someone for who he would never had thought he could feel love for, [[PCs:Elong Singalong|Elong Singalong]].

Their story began at a Ferrell Trade Fair. He already knew Elong prior to this time, but was only seeing her as an evil woman, listening only to the story other had to tell him about her.
But something different happened at the Fair. During the grand auction of the Fair, a lich came in to auction things. Many of the brothers of Shard were opposing to the lich. Shard should have too, but he instead began to feel it was not the right thing to do, not there while it could be dangerous for innocent people to come into a fight with this dangerous undead.
So began his Fall from Paladinhood.
Elong told him he was special and not like the other member of the Order. Rapidly they felt comfortable together and took some time alone together to talk. It was obvious they were at the opposite of each other, but at the same time, they were so good together.
No need to tell that their story was against all odds. For the Order of Gorethar, it was unacceptable that one of their member being emotionnaly accociated with a person they were seeing as a monster acting against all Gorethar's teaching. On the opposite, Elong had many friends Shard was seeing as natural ennemy.
But their love grew throught all those obstacles and the innevitable happened......

Shard left the Order of Gorethar and been declared as apostate, the ''shame'' title of the Order. His vow made to Elong to not slay undead was also part of his fall. Soon after he lost all the gift and power Gorethar was granting him. He was no more a paladin. Feeling that Gorethar had let him, he converted to Kelvos. In the same week, they both married secretly under the eyes of Kelvos at the temple in MChek.

Tiichi’di’wer’dekza what can be translated to Honor of the Legion in common language, has been held for the first time during the Fairy war by one of the first [[Justicar]]. This blade radiate order and glow with a blinding light at the second it leave the scabbard.
A pure diamond sit on the pommel from which nine braid of leather are woved over the handle. On each of those braid, the tenets of [[Toran]] are scribed in the dracon language:

Discipline
Responsibility
Loyalty
Resolve
Respect
Foresight
Humility
Pragmatism

Over the years, the sword have been passed from Justicar to Justicar to fulfill Toran’s Plan.

===Appearance===
A relatively young dracon, Vaeri is 8'3 ft tall and green brown colored. His back bear many scars due to his extensive service in war campain against the orc of [[Dubunat]]. His red eyes reflect the experience of a well trained fighter and his always well ketp armor and gear show his discipline and his ordered life style.
The set of horns spouting from his head is decorated with various carving representing the name of each one of his ancestor going back to the first of his family who became Justicar.

===Personallity===

Vaeri is calm, disciplined and tempered. He do not speak for nothing. He prefer to observe people and act or speak only when it’s needed. His facial trait are hard to distinguish for non dracon. So he can be seen as emotionless and dull. You'll never see his smile or hear him laugh. But when accustomed to his behavior, you can see that he feel the same thing and have the same reaction as anyone. He only differ in the expression of those feeling.
Things he don’t like include arrogance and disrespect. Honor is vital for him his word is gold for him. Never he would betray a vow or lie.

=History=

Vaeri’mrith’inik’tilsin come from Toran Shaarda and was raised as all other children of the family by the elder. Vaeri is a really common dracon in the way he see order and discipline and always focussed his mind in being the best in the trade he choose. During most of his young life time, he learned the respect of his elder and came to see him as a true hero. He also learned that a warrior that only have battle in his life is nothing. So he developed his taste for the music, song and poesy as well. Not that he’s able to perform anything that can be heard without pain, but those thing helped him to like other thing than the harsh life of a soldier.
So he grew up, following the step of his elder, and joined the army at an early age. What he learned during those years were most useful for him as he was more open minded than other soldier. That permitted him to develop his skill and sense of discipline to a higher stage cause he was able to focus his mind to the task at hand then relax and calm down when it was time to do so.
Soon he’s been seen by his commander as an example for the other and promotion came fast for him, as well as battles and victories. He’s been rewarded many time during his service for his deeds against wild and rude opponents. His name even come from a battle against a couple of Sand lizards who ambushed his platoon at rest. His battle was fierce and his tactical manoeuvre set a new way of defeating those dangerous beast. So was given to him the name of ‘’Dance with Sand Lizard’’.
His second greatest deeds was the defending of a small village against a band of marauding orcs. Even surrounded and with poor defense they managed to exterminate the invader with minimal lost among the citizen.
Vaeri is one of the youngest dracon to achieve to the sergeant rank in their army. But the true goal of Vaeri is to become an holy warrior of [[Toran]].
A month ago, a messenger came from the eastern territory of Mchek announcing that the Toranite there were reforming. Vaeri went immediately to his commander to volunteer himself as observer in Mchek.
With the good blessing of his superior, he began his journey to [[Mikona]] to join the Sword of Toran and take a step closer to the [[Justicar]] ordination.

===Medals & Rewards===

The Battle Cross of the North was created after the defeat of the wandering orc tribe of Glushnak the Terrible. Pillage, murder and destruction were frequent during his reign at the border between Toran Shaarda and Dubunat. But with the steady efforts and strong defensive skills of the protectors of the villages along the border, many citizens and family were saved from destruction, and Glushnak met his end after a years of terror.

The decoration is given to those brave soldiers who fought to end the massacre and defend the villages against all odd. Their courage and perseverance is forever engraved in this gold cross emblazoned with an eagle.
