The Equalizers of Mikon are the enforcers and protectors of Mikon's precepts concerning balance and tolerance. They were founded a little over one hundred years ago by a M'Chekian noble by the name of Nimonay Dunster.

During a foiled attempt by Valok to enter the Prime Material Plane, Lord Dunster played a pivotal role in alerting Mikon that there were plans for Valok to enter the world. This important news allowed Mikon to stop Valok's attempt. The goddess Tianna was destroyed in this process by Mikon for her transgression of actually entering the Prime. It was this act that forced Valok to break off his assault and retreat back to Baator.

Nimonay Dunster and his men were rewarded for their usefulness and charged with performing Mikon's duties all over Avlis. They became the Equalizers of Mikon.
