Since the red star and the dissolving of the trust and the rise of the Magesterium and the new Academy of Mortal Magic, under the auspices of Andria, Bards were no longer the ass-mages of old and were now permitted membership in the Academy and thus access to the Advanced Magical Studies controlled by that body.
