It was finally put to rest today<br><br />

A group of six brave Valokians,<br><br />
Set out to destroy him in his lair<br><br />
I, as witness to their actions,<br><br />
And to report what happened there.<br><br />

Upon entering the cavern, <br><br />
We were met with a warning, <br><br />
The Gentleman was far below<br><br />
And we'd likely not see morning.<br><br />
<br><br />
They pressed on undaunted, <br><br />
And I, of course, stayed near.<br><br />
The rooms were filled with shadows<br><br />
I could scarce hide my fear.<br><br />
<br><br />
Vampires, bodaks and fiends of shadow, <br><br />
Wave upon wave, they did attack.<br><br />
The Valokians held fast and strong,<br><br />
Bravely fighting, never looking back.<br><br />
<br><br />
Hordes of creatures sprang from dark<br><br />
Like some sort of twisted test.<br><br />
Beast by beast and room by room,<br><br />
They valiantly laid each one to rest.<br><br />
<br><br />
We came upon a darkened room,<br><br />
Different from those we traversed.<br><br />
The room was still and void of life<br><br />
And I began to fear the worst.<br><br />
<br><br />
Out of shadow, the beast it did appear<br><br />
He was at least two stories tall!<br><br />
With flaming wings, and booming voice,<br><br />
He threatened that he would slay us all. <br><br />
<br><br />
With a quick nod to one another, <br><br />
They began their final attack.<br><br />
As he showed his mighty powers,<br><br />
I worried we might not make it back.<br><br />
<br><br />
With a slash of a mighty sword, <br><br />
They severed his only retreat.<br><br />
As Magnus shouted his true name,<br><br />
The Gentleman would be beat!<br><br />
<br><br />
They fought long and bravely, <br><br />
I could scarce believe what I saw<br><br />
They gathered together in divine light,<br><br />
And I stood back in awe. <br><br />
<br><br />
These brave warriors of Valok,<br><br />
Had carried out their plan.<br><br />
They did what none could do<br><br />
and destroyed the Gentleman!<br><br />
