Creature Type: Vermin ((161))
Creature Subtype: Arachnid

Introduction
The two front legs of a sword spider end in long, sword-like blades, lending the creature both its name and its hunting tactics.
Feeding Habits
A carnivor, Sword Spiders have no problems cutting up meatsacks of various sizes to consume them.
Disposition and Social Habits
Sword spiders are aggressive beasts. A sword spider will typically construct a web in a high place then fling it to restrain prey that gets too close. It then dashes down and poisons its prey before it cuts the prey to pieces with its leg blades to consume.
Habitat
The spider can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings and cave walls and can ignore all movement restrictions caused by webbing.
Fylgia
Most compatible: Spider
- It's a giant spider!
Other notes
Sword spiders can easily fight and see in the dark. They are usually hostile and it is best to attempt to tame them with a meat offering such as sausage (charm monster item)
