Come one, come all
Come short, come tall
Come and listen in
Come thick and thin
Come young, come old
Hear the stories to be told
She lives on a little farm
She always comes to great harm
A wandering she does go
Just a walking to and fro
Then the ground she does hit
As she falls in to a pit
Now the beetles they are bad
And her father is so sad
He doesn’t know what to do
So he enlists the help of me and you
To search out and find this girl
But the smell down there makes my nose hair curl
Better put on all your gear
But be careful and do not fear
As long as I can tag along
I’ll increase our strength with a song
We must not leave this girl alone
Until once again she is safe at home
