The Merenasi family is a large family consisting of several branches who each have their own heraldry, properties and estates, although closely interconnected by marriages. Recently two main branches formed, and almost split the family in half: The Blackfist branch which supported Chancellor Bartholomeus "Blackfist" Merenasi in his almost draconian rulership, and the Merenasi branch which supported the Thrardoldich and Cattone families in trying to bring down Bartholomeus as Chancellor. | |||
