If you would have asked me last year who '''Kassha Firehart''' was I would have laughed and told you I was a mage from [[Bachwood]].  I was the seventh child to my parents Peri and Sala; I would have told you I was a bit of a snot, a bit of a pain, and a bit of a charmer and there was no way in the nine hells I was going to be a farmer.  I would have told you I loved my four sisters and my two brothers … but not enough to baby sit.  I might have finished up and talked about Brianna Haggleshort.  I’m a former soldier of M’Chek, I'm sure I would have babbled about that.  I might have been a hero, I might have been a scourge and I am fairly certain that I was at least a bane to someone once.  A year ago I was an alcoholic, a war machine and an agent of slaughter.  But most important out of all of that a year ago I was the Great Mage of Arms for the [[Guild:RedOrder|Red Order of the Flame]]; and a year ago that is who I was.

It would be impossible to describe my life with out ruminating on what it means to be a [[Transmutant|Transmuter]].  Being a Transmuter is not about the sheer raw power that transmutations can bring you.  Instead by understanding just how transmutations can affect the world around you even the most minor of transmutations can be cast to great affect.  Take for example two spells, Haste and Greater Magic Weapon; in the right circumstances these two spells have the potential to be the most powerful spells in a Transmuter's arsenal.  Properly applied those two spells can turn a rather mundane warrior into a whirlwind of death and destruction rivaling any use magic; I have personally witnessed this several times on the battle field.  Being a Transmuter is not just about knowing your own power and strength but the power and strength of your allies.  Being a Transmuter means you are a force multiplier, the linchpin on which hinges success or failure.  Flexibility and creativity are also key to being a Transmuter.  The spells at the fingertips (or in my case on the tongue) of a Transmuter offer you a wide variety of abilities ......  
 
 
 


If you asked me 6 months ago who '''Kassha Firehart''' was I would have told you I am the re-incarnation of Kcil, a Confounder who was also known as the Mighty Lick.  I might have saved the world … but more importantly I told the Voice of Wilsash a joke and made her smile.  6 months ago I was the wielder of the Umbrella of Chaos, the holder of a Forian reclic, and a collector of dangerous magical artifacts.  6 months ago I was bound by expectations, bound by loyalty, and afraid of my hate.  6 months ago … I wasn’t sure who '''Kassha Firehart''' was.


If you asked me this morning, I would have told you '''Kassha Firehart''' woke up a fool and promptly was a minotaur; at lunch he was a tiger who has a disgusting fondness for rat; and finally this afternoon he was giant shaking a tree down for sweet late harvest apples.  Tomorrow there is no clue what he’ll be.  It isn’t so much a question of who '''Kassha Firehart''' is but what '''Kassha Firehart''' has the potential to be.  I am still a fool but I took my first step on becoming a [[Transmutant|Transmutant]]; It only took me 9 months to understand what [[NPCs:Kaila|Magus Kaila]] was talking about.  Tomorrow I might be the most powerful [[Transmutant|Transmutant]] in all of Negria or I might be a simpleton enjoying a pie; Tomorrow like the Vortex has an infinite amount of possibilities.

On being a Transmuter
