Introduction

Weasels are small active predators, long a slender with short legs. Females are usually smaller then the males. Weasels usually have a red or brown upper coat and white bellies, some of them molt to a wholly white coat in winter.

Feeding Habits

They feed on small mammals, like, mice, rats, frogs, fish and small birds. Sometimes they will take poultry from farms or rabbits from commercial warrens.

Disposition and Social Habits

Weasels have a reputation for cleverness, quickness and guile. They generally hunt alone. Male weasels mate with many females and do not provide for the young.

Habitat

I have observed them in Visimoutnium and Ferrell.
