The Nine Great Gods of Avlis
Beginning life as mortals, and getting captured by an evil being known as a Negerai is what brought the nine great gods to Avlis.
Through the efforts exerted by the Supreme Being, the nine warriors obtained godhood and used it to wipe out the Negerai's influence from the face of the planet. They succeeded, but only after the Negerai, a greater god himself, mysteriously died.
The nine great gods are:
Gorethar: goodness and law
O'Ma: goodness and balance
Dru'El: goodness and chaos
Toran: balance and law
Mikona: true balance
Forian: balance and chaos
Valok: evil and law
Aarilax: evil and balance
Maleki: evil and chaos
