| The weretiger '''Stephanus''' was a companion of the god [[Angadar]] when they were both mortals. When Angadar ascended to godhood, Stephanus was placed in charge of the holy city of [[Grantir]], where the [[Elf, Drangonari|Drangonari]] built their city. Under the leadership of Stephanus, Grantir became a stronghold for the followers of Angadar in a land surrounded by their enemies the [[Shaahesk|Shaahesk]] and the [[Elf, Avariel|Avariel]]. Shortly after leading the armies of Grantir through the destruction of the avariel city of [[Toostan-of-the-Clouds|Toostan]], Stephanus and [[Bobil]] were elevated to demigods by Angadar.

| Though Stephanus had no mantle when he first ascended, over time he put his expertise into practice acquired the mantle of Finesse. His worshippers, who were largely based in Grantir, began to exert their influence in tandem with that of Angadar.

| Today, Stephanus' followers play a role as spies and guardians for the people of Grantir, while they conduct their own business behind the scenes. The worshippers of Stephanus have become quite adept at subtly obtaining their own agenda.

| In 2273 O.D. Stephanus conspired with the goddess [[Valok|Ethraeli]] and later [[Andrinor|Andria]] through his Immortal the drangonari wizard Vivienne to betray Angadar and Bobil. Stephanus' role in what came to be called [[The_Humbling_of_Angadar|"The Humbling of Angadar"]] was crucial, and may have been the originator of the idea to target Angadar and Bobil from the beginning. Through his betrayal he gained Angadar's mantle of Trickery.
