What is it that they do
To entertain me and you
Whether it be to sing a song
Or maybe to right a wrong
If life you love, it is not hard
To live the life of a Bard
To paint a pretty thing
Or to sit on a stool and sing
To mediate between two groups
All the while jumping through hoops
If life you love, it is not hard
To live the life of a Bard
To have and to hold
Several wives is so bold
Now shed a tear because it is said
This magnificent Bard is now dead
But if life you love, it is not hard
To live the life of a Bard
Now put a smile on your face
As we remember in this place
All of the wonders he had done
And all of the times that you had fun
Oh if life you love, it is not hard
To live the life of a Bard
