The war between the men and the elves
Has raged for a hundred years
I'm afraid it will be a hundred more
Before the war's end nears
Now the slavers, and the fey kin
Have joined this fruitless war
Will another million lives be lost
For pride and nothing more
I've seen death, I've seen destruction
Rain down upon the land
Even druids can't revive it
It needs the touch of Berryn's hand
The war between the men and the elves
Has raged for a hundred years
Yet nothing's ever been accomplished
Except the crying orphans' tears
