The children of Mikon who live so free
All viewing each other as a large family
The freedom to choose the path that they take
And control the future for themselves to make
A strong and proud people they are
They can be found both near and far
Living in camps spread all across the land
And making a living by the use of their hands
Some are accomplished crafters by trade
Selling the things that they have made
Some are singers and entertainers you see
Making their living as a bard just like me
There is a great loyalty that they share
To all their kinsmen that live everywhere
You need not know your brother’s name
To know he is Romini and you are the same
A helping hand they will always reach out
And come to each other’s aid no doubt
Now hear my song and listen so well
For the story of my people it does tell
The Romini way is the way that I know
My father taught me the way it does go
The Romini of Avlis to my heart are so dear
If my brother is in need call and I will be here
