Casting this spell on a quarterstaff does the following:
- gives it a +4 enhancement bonus
- when the staff successfully strikes a creature, Dispel Magic is cast on the target
The spell does not work on any other weapon than a quarterstaff.
Alternatively, Transmutant Mages at Rank 3 casting this spell gain +1 Caster Level per 5 base Caster Levels, and an overall +2 to the DC of all attack spells, for 1 round per base Caster Level.
