Vichan's line
Was pure and prime
Before the gates that held the dead,
With spark and fire
Burnt his desire
To lay the restless upon their bed.
Cautious down each step they bore to cobwebbed hall, and dusty floor And in silence still and heavy ... they stood, From whence upon them burst the rattling horde chill bone white, berift of sword, Trying heart's resolve and faith in Lord... to be well understood.
Now, most don't fear 'til they be near that which ghaslty shambles forth, and when sorely pressed to give their best will Gorethar see their total worth.
Yet Vichan strode as is the code to battle adversary, His arm striking home splintered stone cold bone littering dark floors funerary.
Now silence falls in darkened halls the torch's flame does flicker, through shadow's guise their searching eyes And pounding hearts beat quicker.
To end of hall and sealed door the two stand calm and fast before pausing...., the portal's belly sealed, Vichan nods, then Carek turns the handle's creaks and groans do spurn and chamber's secrets are revealed.
The mind is strong where arms go wrong and many rush forth to their demise, yet Vichan stood as well he should and stayed the path most wise.
Upon them thrusts the unlife mass of rotting flesh and reeking gas yet stand they fast, to no advance they yield, their shoulders locked their blades held cocked the rush they met with with mind and shield.
Their blades weaved dance in that holy trance as their host was laid to rest, They sheathe their blades Their friendship made... it was clear the pair were blessed.
