Avlis has migrated to Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition and in that, there were a lot of IC changes as well. This page may contain inaccurate IC and/or OOC material and has been flagged to be updated. For live assistance, Chat with the Team on Discord.

Registration Instructions

To register, follow these steps:

Step 1: Register on the Avlis Forums.

If you haven't already created an account on the Avlis forum, please register here. The forums are an integral way to communicate and participate with the Avlis Community, both out of character and in character. The forums can enhance your role play experience, and give you an offline way to interact with the world. They also contain a wealth of information. You will also need a forum account to let us know you want to register to play here!

Step 2: Enter or Create your Neverwinter Nights EE Player Name.

This is the name you type into the Neverwinter Nights EE Multiplayer Options. Check EE Tips and Tricks to see how. You can use multiple player names, if you wish.

If you are a returning player (you played on Avlis Nevewrinter Nights 1.69 in the past), follow these steps:

1. Migrate your nwncdkey.ini file first.

Click here for instructions, if you acquired your Neverwinter Nights EE copy from Good Old Games (GOG).

Click here for instructions, if you acquired your Neverwinter Nights EE copy from Steam.

2. Then, enter the player name you used before (known as Gamespy or GSID). Please note that the player name is case sensitive (e.g. Orleron is not orleron).

If you are a new player, create a unique Neverwinter Nights EE Player Name that you plan to use for logging into this screen.

Registration FAQ

I am a returning player and I get a message "Your player name is already in use". What do I do?

If you receive a message such as Your player name is already in use and you have followed the steps above, please send a forum message to avliswebadmin.

I am a returning player and cannot remember my original player name. What do I do?

We may still be able to reunite you with your player characters. Please send a forum message to avliswebadmin.

I used to play on another CoPaP world on NWN v. 1.69. Can I continue to play on Avlis in EE?

Yes. Any pre-existing player characters (PCs) from other CoPaP worlds, who have logged into Avlis prior to the migration to EE, are saved on our side. You will see a version of your PC from the last time you logged into Avlis. Please note that any PCs you play on Avlis cannot be played on other CoPaP worlds at this time (as of October 01, 2022 there are no active portals between Avlis and the rest of CoPaP).
