Psionic Specializations

These feats augment, support and extend a psion's other powers and abilities. In particular, the ability of a psion to perform multiple manifestations without rest (expansive mind), the degree to which a psion attempts to manifest feats within a discipline for which they lack natural talent (focus), and the degree of mastery than a psion has achieved within individual disciplines (expertise).
Expansive Mind Feats
These feats reflect the effort a psion has invested in expanding their ability perform psionic manifestations before their mind becomes exhausted
Expansive Mind

Prerequisite: None
Required for: Epic Expansive Mind
Specifics: The character gains +20 Psionic Strength Points added directly to his maximum. This feat can be taken up to 5 times.
Use: Automatic.
Epic Expansive Mind
Type of Feat: Special
Prerequisite: 21st Level, Expansive Mind V
Required for: None
Specifics: The character gains +20 Psionic Strength Points added directly to his maximum. This feat can be taken up to 5 times.
Use: Automatic
Psionic Focus Feats
Psionic focus represent the effort that a psion has devoted to manifesting powers within a particular discipline. Such efforts are typically necessary to counteract a lack of natural talent, and thus psions are unlikely to take these feats in disciplines for which they are inherently capable.

Required for: Epic Psionic Focus
Specifics: The character receives a +2 to all power checks in the chosen discipline. This feat can be taken up to 2 times per discipline.

Epic Psionic Focus

Prerequisite: 21st Level, Psionic Focus II
Required for: None
Specifics: The character receives a further +2 to all power checks in the chosen discipline. This feat can be taken up to 2 times per discipline.

Psychic Expertise Feats
Psychic expertise feats reflect the degree of mastery that a psion has achieved in a particular discipline; quite literally, their degree of expertise within that discipline. A psion is not restricted from developing expertise in multiple disciplines.

Prerequisite: None
Required for: Epic Psychic Expertise
Specifics: All powers in the chosen discipline have their cost reduced by 10% as well as their effects enhanced by 10%. The enhanced effect is for increased damage or bonus. It does not affect duration, DC, or manifester level. This feat can be taken up to 2 times per discipline.

Epic Psychic Expertise
Type of Feat: Special
Prerequisite: 21st Level, Psychic Expertise II
Required for: None
Specifics: All powers in the chosen discipline have their cost further reduced by 10%, as well as their effects further increased by 10%. The enhanced effect is for increased damage or bonus. It does not affect duration, DC, or manifester level. This feat can be taken up to 2 times per discipline.

Psychometabolism: Adrenenaline Control, Catfall, Cell Adjustment, Chameleon Power, Life Drain, Photosynthesis, Strength of the Land
Psychoportation: Summon Planar Energy (except water)
Telepathy: Ego Whip, ESP, Inflict Pain, Intellect Fortress, Mental Barrier
Expertise does not affect:
Clairsentience: Combat Mind+, Danger Sense, See Invisibility
Metapsionics: Cannibalize, Psionic Residue, Psychic Clone, Psychic Drain, Receptacle, Stasis Field
Psychokinesis: Animate Shadow, Telekinesis, Time Shift,
Psychometabolism: Accelerate, Biofeedback, Cause Sleep, Complete Heal, Death Field, Displacement, Ectoplasmic Form, Enhanced Strength, Flesh Armor, Lend Health, Regenerate+
Psychoportation: Dimension Door, Banishment, Summon Planar Creature
Telepathy: Attract, Aversion, Contact, Daydream, Dominate, Hallucinations, Id Insinuation, Mind Blank, Mind Blast, Mind Thrust, Mind Wipe+, Psionic Blast, Psychic Crush, Psychic Surgery, Sensory Suppression, Suppress Fear, Thought Shield, Tower of Iron Will
+ The original number is too low for any expertise to have an affect on it.
Note: Note that Expertise does reduce the cost of all powers, but the % reduction is rounded down and so may not be apparent unless you have Psychic Expertise II (20%) or Epic Psychic Expertise (30%, 40%).
Psionic Augmentations
Harness Subconscious
Type of Feat: Selected
Prerequisite: Psion Level 5+
Required for: n/a
Specifics: Can only be used once per reset. The character places themselves into deep meditation for one round, after which the next manifested power will not drain PSP (i.e. will have a PSP cost of 0).
Note: Using 'harness' in a chained command reduces the PSP cost, it does not set it to zero.
Use: via ACP (or certain items that might bypass the meditation requirement)
Meditative Focus
Type of Feat: Selected
Prerequisite: Psion Level 10+
Required for: n/a
Specifics: The character places themselves into deep meditation for one round, after which the power check for the next manifested power will not fail.
Use: via ACP (or certain items that might bypass the meditation requirement)
Prolong
Type of Feat: Selected
Prerequisite: Psion Level 15+
Required for: n/a
Specifics: The character places themselves into deep meditation for one round, after which the next manifested power will last for double its duration, at a cost of twice the PSP. Note that Stasis Field, and powers within instantaneous durations, cannot be prolonged
Use: via ACP (or certain items that might bypass the meditation requirement)
Magnify
Type of Feat: Selected
Prerequisite: Psion Level 21+
Required for: n/a
Specifics: The character places themselves into deep meditation for one round, after which the next manifested power will have its effects doubled at a cost of triple the PSP. Effects are only doubled where there is a numeric that can be doubled
Use: via ACP (or certain items that might bypass the meditation requirement)
Compound Use
If used together (chain/compound use), Psionic Augmentations incur longer meditation time. Check ACP for details.
