Appearance

Trained posture and a light athletic build afford Shaenyn every bit of her 5'9" height. Her shoulders are average breadth, and the tone of her back and core sculpt her waist on the way to her hips, themselves broader than her bust. Her legs are long and strong, and her skin is youthful and healthy, but is typically tanned from being in the sun and toughened where her blade-, armor-, and horse-work demand. Shae's face is broad at the cheeks, with a tapering jaw and narrow chin. Her eyes are smoky hazel and downward cast. She has blonde hair that is wavy and layered and falls past her collarbone, with sideswept bangs accenting the frame. She also almost always wears makeup. That changes depending on what she is doing, wearing, and so forth. She typically appears around 30 human years old. A longer look would reveal minor details - her eyebrows are high slender and groomed, her nose is small, yet slightly long down her face. Her lips are more delicate than the rest of her features. Shae's unguarded countenance has a natural lightness to it that some may find beautiful, but is certainly approachable. The lightness vanishes quickly in favor of whatever intensity she may need for a given moment.

The first of two large tattoos starts low beneath her beltline inside her left hip, traces up the left side of her stomach, around her waist, and settles over her shoulderblade. It features delicate and beautiful black linework depicting a slender link chain, entwined with vibrant, colorful watercolor paintings of dozens of distinct wildflowers Shae encountered in her travels. The second tattoo is clearly by the same hand, with familiar linework giving shape to a long, elegant dragon sleeving her left arm and the explosions of watercolor blues that bring the sleeve to life. Both pieces share in common a tiny serpentine maker's mark identifying their artist as Elainee Aelrin
