A Brief History
A young woman who describes herself as having grown up on a "dust farm" in M'Chek, Jordaine now divides her time equally between walking Elysia's quiet roads gathering roots and flowers, and breaking combat dummies in the Champion's Castle courtyard. Several generations of poor yield on her old farm forced her parents to send their only daughter north at the age of 20, in hopes that she might break away from the despairing life that was dust farming. This was not before first imparting to their daughter the values of kindness and good well, leading her to find common ground with Elysia's deific benefactor, O'Ma.
Soon after becoming active in the church, the decision of when to resort to arms became unclear and upsetting. Perhaps worst of all was the fact that she was not terribly bad at fighting, and quite capable of inflicting mortal wounds. Wishing to resolve this, she consulted the people who O'Ma trusted and blessed most of all with this duty, leading her to the Templar Program. She can be found at least every other day in the Champion's Castle courtyard drilling tirelessly in gleaming heavy plate, commissioned by Lt. General Alazmi Alxicus himself.
Jordaine counts many locals and travellers among her friends: Aidric, Nax, Kard, Tevez, Willian, Moira, Arn, Findail, Gaklah, and Roland to name a few. She considers Sara to be her best friend of all, as well as being the person who first helped her adjust to life in Elysia. A pleasant demeanor and smile accompany her everywhere, even if sometimes a sad one. For all the joys and sorrows of life, one must still do their best.
