Blows and Flowers
There once was a giantess, so fair-
-ly large. She had a heart which was soft
as stone. She wanted an ogre
to have as her lover, so him she courted
with blows and flowers.
Blows and flowers
Blows and flowers
She courted him with blows and flowers
She lived in a lovely
cold hole in the ground. She sent gentle poems
that grated his ears. She'd
kiss him and fight him, miss him and bite him.
She courted the ogre
with blows and flowers.
Blows and flowers
Blows and flowers
She courted him with blows and flowers
So he went to speak with her
to say she was spurned, that the
ogre she loved's heart wouldn't turn.
But she couldn't be swayed, she courted him anyway
with blows and flowers.
Blows and flowers
Blows and flowers
She courted him with blows and flowers
