Mind Benders

Aside from the powers wrought by magic, there are powers derived from the mind. These mental effects are brought about through individuals who exhibit much discipline and training in the art of mind bending, more properly termed "psionics".

Psioinics are rare on Avlis, though they are known to exist. Any given psionicist can find work on Avlis, though the most coveted kind are those that specialize in telepathic communication. They are loved by seamen who use them to talk with their home port and avoid storms.
