In game description

This elven woman is small in stature, yet walks with her head held high, her masked gaze appraising the area around her, always.

When she speaks, it's in a quiet, measured tone, and often with a heavily sibilant hiss to her common paired with an accent native to her kin in Grantir.

She's rarely seen without her black and silver dragon mask, which is clearly old and heavily enchanted, a prized possession. Her cloak, perhaps from the same era, is a flowing black cape, partially made up of an exotic and almost metallic material. This is often wrapped about herself if she remains in place for more than a few minutes.

On her left side are two bladed weapons, a scimitar and a more foreign blade. These are well maintained, yet one of them seems to show more wear than the other.

On her right is a large leather bound book, containing personal notes, observations and many pages comprising of runes of both arcane and divine spells.

General information

Name: 'Four'

Description: This Drangonari woman is of small build, but there's a strength in her frame that stands out in her movements, which are not especially graceful or brimming with confidence. When she speaks, it's in a quiet, measured tone, and often with a sibilant hiss to her common paired with an accent native to her kin in Grantir.

She's not been seen in public without an ancient dragon mask, comprised of black scale and silver horn. This helm is clearly very old and heavily enchanted, a prized possession. Next to this, she wears another magical item: a flowing black and silver cloak that she often wraps about herself defensively.

In combat - when forced into it - she is quick to both slash with a scimitar and fling magical spell. However, in the majority of cases - she prefers to hide under cloak of invisibility, often declaring her intention to only 'obtherve' the formations and creatures she finds herself pitched against. Often, she seems to wish to avoid combat entirely where possible and in such occasions she'll act in a support role, healing her allies on the battlefield with a practiced hand.

On her person; notebooks filled with views on creatures she's seen, the monster, humanoid or animal rendered with at least passable artistic skill. There are pages upon pages of spells, both arcane and divine, sometimes both on the same page, repeated, over and over. Necromantic runes are the most commonly used throughout the notebooks, though other spell schools are found nestled throughout the pages. Often, the focus is one specific spell, the runes that form it repeated in different - experimental - ways from one page to the next.

Undead creatures, from Liches to Shadows and skeletal forms are featured in the pages among the runes prominently, drawn in a black charcoal, some even combining runes and creatures to make a somewhat macabre art form all of its own.

Background: Part of a group that was captured by Evrakians, this woman's introduction to the southern lands began as a prisoner within some otherworldly and completely alien ruins. Referred to as 'Subject Four' by the malevolent spirits working on behalf of her captors; her initial optimism at leaving Grantir for the first time on an important and secretive quest came to an abrupt end at her confinement.

She and her fellow captives worked together to thwart the oppression of their jailor, who utilized a powerful Djinn to conjure up various areas and puzzles for them to either overcome or die trying in the attempt. Eventually, she and some of her companions escaped, and her journey to Elysia was complete, but not without many lessons learnt and resentments fostered.

Upon meeting many in the south - with the rare exception of course - she uses the given designation 'Four' as her name, and if asked further on this name she'll usually - if only briefly - explain the designation's origins. She will admit, in varying degrees of detail (depending on who she speaks to) that she intends to reclaim her real name once her captors have been dealt with.

She wears an amulet with three tiny skulls. Of late she's been seen with a simple black quarterstaff and two blades - one especially exotic.

Observed events:

  • Witnessed the end of In-Nabbah Ser (the Gentleman) and the rebirth of Dagath after he was freed from his own cycle.
  • Witnessed the end of Jovas Trenaine, one of the Gentleman's Wraith Lords.
  • Along with several other adventurers, established the beginnings of a trading relationship between the Tritons and the M'Chekian people.

Claims to fame:

  • Slayer of Nelthrope, former M'Chekian Lord turned crazed monster.

Together with a fellow group of adventurers, and because of an alchemical marvel created by Drogridoc Shadowviper and Marie that turned the Dragonelthrope into his former form of seemingly frail human, Four was able to inflict the death blow by utilizing divine powers of negative energy into his weakened form.
