The Moon and the Sun
Once upon a time, in a land far away, was living a beautiful moon. Complete when full, secretive as the new, always joyful as the gibbous and unreachable as a reflective crescent. On the land she was bringing light to the darkness and healing to the injured. Though she was generous of her heart, the only one who she forgot to heal was herself.
Living over the sea was a sun. Bright and heartily, going to sleep in the water every night. Bored to watch over the calm ocean every day, he decided to set his course to the land of the moon. Not knowing what he would find there, he was surprised to see this shining beauty and both rapidly became friends. Over two seasons friendship grew into something more and as they were even planning to set their course together to the sky, the moon became crescent, covered by a night of dark cloud. Unreachable for the sun, who was desperately searching the love of his life, she was caught in a night of doubt under the appealing cover of the dark cloud.
Until she realized that she was only letting the cloud cover her and that she has the power to dissipate it. Then her heart shined once more and the sun saw her brightness. She was once again gibbous and soon she accepted the sun as her only love. Together they set their course to the skies, above all the clouds and lived happy together shining above their land with peace, healing and love.
Soon.... little stars began to appear in the night, as the fruits of their true love.
