Adagio (or 'Dagi' to his friends) is the son of a Romini fortuneteller, part of a travelling circus which ran circuits between T'Nanshi and M'Chek before the war. When the camp was destroyed by orcish marauders, Adagio fled to safety of the elven canopies with his half-brother and swore vengeance against all orc-kin. Devoted to Pelar since his childhood, he honed his hunting skills and spent ten seasons as a ranger in his service. During that time, he grew more and more bitter and hunted and slayed orcs wherever he could find them.
During a long hunting trip in the Underdark, Adagio was bitten by wererats and fled into the wilds outside Mikona. In a bizarre twist of fate, a wandering orcish cleric restored him to health and ended Adagio's long streak of vengeance. Realizing the folly of his ways, Adagio swore to accept all beings as individuals without prejudice or bias from that day forward. He immediately left his devotion to orcslaying and turned back to his roots as a performer.
After several seasons of working on his long-ignored performance talents, he was approached by Raen to perform at the Port Hole in Ferrell, where he was introduced to Elong, Willem Lightheart, and others from the performance troupe Reverdie. It wasn't long before Adagio could count himself as one of their members, and ever since Adagio has wandered the lands, hunting, singing, and twirling his signature tambourine with a flair. He is currently based out of the Sloppy Elf Inn in Nanshi Urbaz, Deglos, where he can often be seen taking out his aggression out in healthier ways: working the forge, collecting liquors from all over the world, or hunting Umber Hulks in the deep recesses of the dwarven lands.
Adagio is currently considering a relocation to Visimontium in order to increase his influence at the bardic Academy, as well as to locate new, stimulating hunting grounds in which to honor his god.
