Systems and Tools

This space is managed by the The Avlis Team. It is a work in progress.

As discussed in the Economy article, there are several categories of Bioware Merchant NPCs (Biomerchants) on Avlis.

About

Unless otherwise specified, all Avlis Biomerchants are capped at 1,000 GP "Buy" price & have 10,000 GP available (may run out of gold unless they receive income from sales). Most Biomerchants will Identify unknown items for a fee. Default is 50 GP, again unless otherwise specified.

Last but not least, Crafted items on Avlis are flagged as Stolen. Some Biomerchants will buy Stolen items and others will not; refer to the listings below. Crafted items are best disposed of through the Recycling System, rather than Biomerchants.

Generalist

A Generalist or a Survivalist Biomerchant will buy whatever a PC sells to them. There is at least one of those on most Avlis servers.

No two are alike; for instance, M'Chek includes examples of both highest and lowest "Buy" prices for Generalists.

Remember, Specialists will pay more for the type of goods they offer.
