Once known as Chasworth Keep, War commissioner Lord Tobias Chasworth interfered in a private war between Lord Cornelius Nelthrope and Lord Dunster by fighting against Nelthrope. Despite helping defeat Nelthrope, Chasworth was stripped of his noble lands but for the sake of balance, Lord Dunster bequeathed to Lord Chasworth the lands gained known as Nelthrope Keep to him.
