Background Ken has grown up near the water, worked his way up from sailing into well paid ships marine force jobs on merit of his service with The Company where he met and served under Lisa Ormane. After a brief tour with the Blackhawks Ken was given the offer of a promotion and freedom to pursue his first love, sea duty, when the opportunity arose by joining Iron Fist, work that he's grown to enjoy considerably in no small part due to the quality of his fellow officers and the leadership. Ken tends to be more good humored and laid back than the typical Toranite which has given him some pause in pursuing that path like his long time mentor "Southpaw" Ormane.
