On Shannen
Shannen Di'rithia is an Avariel with deep, sapphire-blue eyes, slightly blue-tinted skin and short, stylish dark blue hair. As with most female Avariel, she is slender and not very tall. She says she grew up in Northern Deglos, in hiding with her parents and younger, very ornery brother Amendel Di'rithia. She practices wizardry and prefers to focus her spells on enhancing her healing abilities and providing protections for others.
She HATES dresses and robes.
She LOVES rain and trees.
She finds archery beautiful.
A bit tormented by her extreme desire to make her late father proud, she is at constant war with her quick temper. Thus she uses a large amount of energy trying to hold her tongue and more obviously live out the values of Cha'reth. In fact, she loves Cha'reth and all that he stands for with every particle of her being.
Shannen is extremely loyal and honest and can be very naive. She's naturally playful, warm and affectionate, and has no qualms about wrapping her arms around brand new friends. And old friends? Forget it. They often get mauled.
Shannen also sketches and writes in a large journal when she has time.
