Yesterday eve, a shopping trip was in order,
I wanted to look somewhere different
So, I took a left at the border.
Eastshore has shops galore, so off I went.

When I arrived, there were so many people - and more
To the right, to the left, magic was thrown
Bugbears, bugbears – pissed off, looking to even a score…
Most of Eastshore seemed a combat zone!

The tall bossy one split us in groups, one for each path,
The right-sized brave Vaako, chose me to help with the north
I didn’t hear all the names, even in the aftermath-
There wasn’t time for hellos, the bugbears kept coming forth.

We fought them off, wave after wave,
They had mages and fighters and shamans galore-
Our warriors were fiercer and oh so brave
We held them off, until they came no more.

The last couple fled, knowing full well,
That they didn’t stand a chance against us
To the warrens they ran, wearing haste spells
Their raid against Eastshore, quite a bust.

The folks all in green, hooded with bows,
Said the raid was for payback, for revenge.
Too many people were the bugbears woes –
The attacks on the warrens they were trying to avenge.

The attack was over, and the healers healed
everyone went their own way…
To those that fought for Eastshore with such zeal
Thank you, thank you, thank you, is all I can say.
