This sounds like a 15th level mage casts 15 balls, each doing 15d6 damage.
This sounds like a 15th level mage casts 15 balls, each doing 15d6 damage. Surely this can't be the case.

Which increases? # of balls or damage per ball?

According to NWNWiki [http://www.nwnwiki.org/Ball_lightning here] it's just d6 per ball, making this spell useless to have compared to Firebrand's max 15d6 dmg on every target in range. If it was changed to max 15d6 per ball and 15 balls, then it would do an average of (7d6*15) 630 dmg if used on one target (for lvl 15+ casters), which would be crazy-style.  -llhht
