Transgression
by Findail
Her shining eyes glistened like iron so black
The sheen made me overly bold
I made my advances; she gave me a smack
Her heart was incredibly cold
Her tongue was like silver, exceedingly sweet
The words made me think I should try
But when she got angry it wasn't a treat
I cringed from her acid reply
Her hair, copper-red, was a billowing mane
It begged for the touch of my hand
Alas! All my striving was simply in vain
Her shock left me wholly unmanned
Her skin was so bronze and as smooth as new wine
I took my chance with a caress
It led to a passion, so burning, divine
Forgetting her flaws, I transgressed
