"... the shuriken called Dark Stars throw many blacksmiths for a loop. The secret ingredient for these little deadlies is a crystal ball. Ye can get a crystal ball by beating the crap out of your local hag.
"Melt down three ingots of platinum. Then crack the crystal ball with a good iron hammer and crush it to powder. Stir the powder into the molten metal, then cast yer shuriken as usual. If you don't suck at this, you should be able to make fifty Dark Stars this way."
