The Lost Princess : Volume 4 of 7

Over the next year a dark shadow touched the lives of those noble and royal and Holy in the city of Toostan: strange disappearances, a plague of terrifying nightmares, violent deaths and dark rumors of strangeness at the palace were abound. No-one suspected the Princess of course, who had outwardly returned to her old self, vibrant, talented, and most of all beautiful...even more so then she has been ... everywhere she went, she was loved ... all doted on her like a jewel of the morning. Even when a new marriage was proposed she was gracious and happy, and when some loose masonry accidentally fell and crushed her betrothed, she even appeared to mourn ... for a little while. A perfect illusion she was.

Another year passes.. Every time there was moonlight the princess spent with the Dark Lady sharing secrets, studying the dark stars, and even falling deeper into the web of lies she created. This was the year also that the King's brother fell ill. He would have no other but his beloved little sister tend him, turning away clerics and healers alike. Zelia herself nursed him all she could and was the model of a loving sister ... while she slowly poisoned him to death.

She was the Nightmare, and she wanted more ... more power ... her taste for it grew, now she was one step closer to the throne ... she dreamed of burning down T'Nanshi with an army of avariel.. once she was Queen, to destroy Savere and everything he had ever loved ... to wipe the timid natives from the world so the True Elves, the rightful Leaders, remained.

She looked out over the city every night, and desired to affect the dreams of the common folk, to have All in the palm of her hand ... to Bring the Great Dream to all ... pain, fear ... darkness ... cold. She needed ... More.
