For Vanoviel Niltaurwen,
for Elysia A Ballad in Remembrance

Along the banks of the river Eridamus
Stood a half nymph maid in noblesse
Amidst the Meadow and falling rain
An Elysium on the Mortal Plane
The vision of Lady Vanoviel

Shovel and stone in his name she blessed
For night and day she did her best
Building a stronghold in his name
A safe haven in O'Ma's fame
The vision of Lady Vanoviel

The Champions keep, home of the brave
With green Parks around the nave
Temple Bells soon was quick to sound
As Nobles and others settled in around
The City of Elysia

Eastern District where the citizens thrive
Market District and the Merchants strive
Warehouse District for all the supplies
Northern District a sight for sore eyes
The city of Elysia

With Four great Gates the city stands
Reaching out for all the lands
Always open unless in times of danger
But otherwise accepting every stranger
The Gates of Elysia

Dwarf Gate faces the Dwarves and mines
Elf Gate to the woods and Elven wine
Man Gate welcomes the diversity of men
As Dracon Gate opens for the Wemic den
The Gates of Elysia

Artisans gained a district with their name
Metalworkers in the Forge join the game
In the Wharves where the boats leave bay
Even the Romini have a place to stay
The lands of Elysia

The Orchards south and a daughter lost
A Lifestone that will always last
In the west overlooking a field of flowers
Dargoth Wood that Tupaia empowers
The lands of Elysia

No wish to rule when the city was done
Only leading the Champions from then on
An elected council in her name precedes
But it was still her voice everyone heeds
The Lady named Vanoviel

Many years has passed since that day
Elysia still thrives with its Fey
The City stands but she’s long gone
Her remembrance with each new dawn
The Lady named Vanoviel
