Hafgan the Wise

Hafgan is a tall, broad-backed human. His body is lean and hard, as tough as leather, a result of his long years spent traveling and living in the wilds throughout Avlis. His face is another sign of his rough living. Across his face, a large scar runs from above his left temple, down to his right cheek. Piercing gray eyes focus with great concentration, though it seems he is always aware of what is around him. His head is full of dark brown hair, even though his face has seen many years, but a few traces of gray spread across his scalp.

He is often clothed in dark robes and a helm or hood. Across his back is normally a large shield and a long, thin blade which he fondly calls "Hewylbane." He will often introduce himself with different titles which include: Hafgan the Wise; Hafgan the Strong; Hafgan Sereg Slayer; and many others.

Not much was known about Hafgan when he appeared in Mikona. He was wandering aimlessly in the market district when he came across an announcement for a great voyage. Though he was more comfterable with his feet planted on good hard ground, he hesitated for only a moment before signing on as a crewman under Aryen Milen. The voyage started out quite well, but became worse and worse as the crew was assulted by dragons and taken prisoner on a dragon infested island. After many hardships, the crew managed to escape and make their way back to Mikona, and Hafgan was quite glad to be on dry ground again. He was also glad to head back into the wilds.

He disappeared from the lands of M'Chek for a while, and decided to travel to the city of Elysia. There he met an Ogre by the name of Gak the Stone, who led him on a wild adventure through the planes and onto the never-ending staircase. However, he did not return with Gak for unknown reasons.

He has since then appeared in a somewhat random fashion in random places, but he is most often seen in Elysia in the company of another human and a halfling.
