The silent flame is a cleansing one.<br /><br />

<u>II. Justice. Justice of Judgement.</u><br />
Those of righteous judgement are of inner sight.<br />
They honour the just with fountain water,<br />
they burn the wicked with fire and brimstone.<br />
They invite sun into their orchards,<br />
they endure storm in their strongholds.<br />
They take light to blind the fool,<br />
they take darkness to tell the wise.<br />
The bitter kiss is remedy.<br /><br />

<u>III. Strength. Strength of Spirit.</u><br />
Those of noble souls are those who know their fears.<br />
The friends to their fears know themselves truly.<br />
The fool is driven by his fears.<br />
The blind is driven against them.<br />
The wise is driven because of them.<br />
The seer drives them.<br /><br />
When to ford a mountain river,<br />
the fool tells of courage.<br />
When to ford a mountain river,<br />
the wise tells of poles and ropes.<br /><br />

<u>III. Weakness of spirit.</u><br />
Watch them walk, both fearless and fear-stricken.<br />
The fool takes shields to deflect swords.<br />
The wise takes the swords away.<br />
The shiniest armour is archery target.<br /><br />
