Introduction

The Pegasus is a very rarely spotted magical beast that looks like an impossibly white horse with majestic matching white wings. Though they tend to remain far from civilization if you find one you are likely to find several.

They prefer a nomadic lifestyle away from anything that might be aggressive. Despite their natural avoidance of trouble, if pressed, they have surprisingly effective self defense. With the strong legs and hard hooves of a horse, plus the agility and three dimensional movement of the wings, their display of physical prowess is almost a performance. There is more to it than merely the physical. They have a spiritual connection to the air that grants them supernatural dexterity and avoidance.

Feeding Habits

The Pegasus has eating habits virtually identical to that of its more mundane relative, the horse. They graze in open plains, and since they have wings they can always fly to where the grasses are plentiful.

Disposition and Social Habits

Pegasus have a herd mentality, similar to regular horses. As they are far more rare, their herds are generally smaller and far less likely to be casually spotted.

Habitat

Pegasus may be found just about anywhere far from major cities since they have the mobility of birds. Despite this, since there are so few of them and they prefer not to be seen it is not likely the casual traveler will see one in an entire lifetime.

Fylgia

Most compatible: Hawk

  • The wings of the pegasus allow it to use its otherwise brutish hooves in very elegant ways. The fighting style is very hawk like.
