SCHOOL OF ENCHANTMENT

The School of Enchantment focuses on the artful manipulation of one's environment through the magical domination of others within it. An enchanter of adequate ability, and knowledge of the appropriate spells, can masterfully guide the puppet strings of those in their area of operations toward whatever end they might desire.

Through enchantments such as Dominate Person and Dominate Monster one can effect all manner of deeds upon whomever they choose and may even do so anonymously. Those few who manage to resist such magical subjugation by an enchanter can still be dealt with through spells such as Confusion, Sleep, and Hold Person. Thus they are removed from the opportunity to disrupt one's plans.

For instance, a master of enchantment can apply their art to dominating local monsters for the purpose of sacking a village while also neutralizing those responsible for its defense through confusion and discord. The illusion of mutiny formed of turning dominated would-be defenders against their beleaguered comrades during the battle can all but seal that village's fate.
